With YouGotRated, you’re protected from the moment you make an online purchase to the time of delivery and beyond. If something goes wrong with your order, your eligible transaction is fully protected.
How it Works:
When You buy an item covered by the Program from a qualifying Merchant, and the Merchant fails to remedy any of the eligible problems, YouGotRated will assist You in resolving the problem and/or provide You a Refund, equal to the original item price plus shipping and tax, subject to the refund limitations and processes described in our Terms and Conditions.
Eligible problems include each of the following:
• You fail to receive the item purchased • You fail to receive the correct item or the item is not as described • You received a damaged item • You failed to receive all the items purchased in your order • The Merchant is not willing to honor their return policy
Every once in a while something goes wrong with an order and most often is the result of a simple misunderstanding or human error. When this happens, buyers may take action by opening a dispute with YouGotRated.
In most cases, the easiest way to settle a dispute is for buyers and sellers to work together to figure out what happened and to settle their differences.
When buyers and sellers can’t come to an agreement, our Dispute Resolution can help them arrive at a solution both sides can agree on. This resolution system makes it easy for buyers and sellers to track, manage, and resolve
disputes. It's a convenient process that helps to bring about the right solutions in a timely manner.
You're Protected if:
1. The Merchant fails to ship your item
All you have to do is to login to your account and open a dispute to get the refund process started.
2. Your order arrives, but it's significantly different than it was described
There are a variety of scenarios that meet this condition.
1 You received a completely different item.
2 Example: You purchased a book, but received a DVD.
3 The item is missing parts or features, and this was not disclosed.
4 Example: The listing said batteries included - but they weren't.
5 You purchased a specific quantity of an item - but received the wrong
6 Example: You purchased five pairs of fuzzy dice, but only received four.
7 The item was damaged en route to its destination.
8 Example: You bought a beautiful antique lamp - and it arrived in pieces.
9 You received a counterfeit version of the item.
10 Example: You purchased a Rolex but received a replica.
3. You are not satisfied and would like a refund.
Opening a dispute in our Resolution Center is easy and convenient. Most importantly, because YouGotRated is a trusted source, the merchant will be more inclined to work with you in resolving the dispute fairly and quickly in order to maintain their brand reputation.
If the dispute cannot be resolved between Buyer and Seller, our Automated Syatem will escalate it to a Claim. And if the Merchant doesn't honor their refund policy, then YouGotRated will provide You a Refund, equal to the original item price plus shipping and tax,
YouGotRated's Buyer Protection Program covers your online purchases from any Verified Merchant that displays the Buyer's Protection Badge in their website at the time you make your purchase. It is important to know that the program does not cover certain kinds of purchases like digital goods (intangible items), services, real estate, motorized vehicles (of any kind), custom made items, travel tickets, industrial machinery (for manufacturing), prepaid cards, or items that are usually prohibited by law For a complete list of ineligible items please go to the User Agrrement or FAQ's. The Buyer Protection Program does not cover items that you purchase in person.
